Arena Center is a brand new, technologically advanced, shopping and entertainment centre boasting over 175,000 square metres of accommodation for 10 large department stores, 200 medium-sized shops, a multiplex cinema and entertainment facilities.

Specified through the London office of Design International, ACDC supplied over 3,000 metres of both fixed colour and RGB colour change cold cathode lighting along with state of the art Dual dimmable control gear, which features in the mall, central atrium, food courts and walkways. This is ACDC’s first project in Croatia and product was supplied through our new Zagreb based distributor, IBF.

Lighting Designer Christopher Knowlton said: “The cold cathode lighting looks absolutely fantastic. Both Design International and the client were impressed with the work done by ACDC; their support has been instrumental in getting this project finished to such a high standard.”

The new Arena Center development is the most significant architectural project in the South-West of Zagreb and, at the same time, it greatly influences the development of a modern infrastructure and municipal network for this area. Zagreb now has a brand new city centre; one that is dynamic and represents a development model for the twenty-first century.
