As part of a national fit out program, the Jury's Tower Hotel in Dublin was given the cold cathode treatment by lighting designers Light Lab. The public areas were the main focal point of the cold cathode installation, with the reception coffers, columns and bathrooms being designed to receive the luxurious cold cathode touch. Light Lab used cold cathode for its proven lifetime, which for the backlighting of sheerstone marble panels was a crucial element, keeping ongoing maintenance to an absolute minimum.
Marcus Cave commented: "For coffer lighting, cold cathode still proves to be the most cost effective linear product, offering true and consistent colour rendition over the long term. Using the ACDC modular Covelite system enables simple installation to meet quick turn around work schedules and the company's high level of service enables us to manage projects easily all over Europe."
