The front façade of the flagship Waterstones bookshop on Piccadilly has undergone a lighting transformation which is firmly in keeping with the building's original illumination and architecture. ACDC worked closely with the project team in gaining planning approval on this listed building, which meant that any additions to the building structure had to be 'non permanent'.

ACDC’s Covelite Exterior was ideal for this application where the existing recess was only 80mm x 80mm and changes to this structure were simply not permitted. The IP plug and play system was neatly incorporated into the cove detail, where maintenance and longevity were obvious concerns and additional wiring was not an option.
